Sorry for no posts in this blog for sometime now. Most of you are aware that Chris Nachtmann of CNC Performance Engineering has taken over sales and distribution of the Vandergriff Gin Rib. He has been making this part since the beginning along with his father before him. The quality of the rib has not changed. His number is: 704-560-8905. Vandergriff Ribs are expensive because the USA high grade steel we use to have the forgings made from keeps increasing in price. Not only that, the forging manufacturer keeps raising their price as well. We have had no choice but to add these production cost increases the the final cost of the rib. Profit margins have never changed. The quality of the rib remains superior to that of the competition. It is important to note that we do use high grade USA Steel, not cheap foreign imported steel, or lower quality steel.
Vandergriff Inc. is also partnered with Vandergriff-American. We manufacture the Jet Dryer, and top of the line pre-cleaning equipment. Our horizontal cleaners paired with our Jet Dryers do a great job removing trash and improving grades. The cotton is prepped and single locked by the time is gets to the gin stands. John Freeman is the one to call if you are interested in any of this. It is proving to be highly successful in many gins in Australia. His number is: 229-220-1406. Finally, all equipment made by Vandergriff Inc, and Vandergriff- American are made in the USA, and a big part of the product line comes right out of Lubbock, Texas. Our biggest competitors parts are not made in the USA. We take great pride in this. As we enter into summer, I hope gin repair is going well and the crop is looking relatively good in your region.
